Merry Christmas!! It is so exciting that Christmas Eve and Marvelous Monday are falling on the same day! Today we wish to share with you two very important verses in the Christmas story. Luke 2:11-12 says, “The Savior-yes, the Messiah, the Lord-has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying… in a manger.”
These verses point out the importance of Jesus Christ and his birth. They are the sole reason we celebrate Christmas, regardless of what today’s media tells us. So remember today and tomorrow as you are opening gifts and eating delicious Christmas dinner that years ago our Savior was born and layed in a feeding trough filled with hay. The ultimate Christmas gift, the best gift we could ever give to our families, friends, and co-workers, is the one that was born on Christmas day.
