Bush Alaska Missions

Bush Alaska Missions is a mission organization filled by people striving to take the gospel to remote areas of Alaska that are rarely reached! 1 Corinthians 9:22-23 describes our hearts desire for the people of Alaska.

Trinidad Missions

In 2007 we began doing mission work in the country of Trinidad – Tobago. Trinidad is located at the southern end of the Caribbean Islands. Though Trinidad and Tobago are two separate island, they are under one governing body. Trinidad and Tobago have a strong Hindu and Muslim presence. These islands are very dark spiritually, but there is an openness to the Gospel, especially in the area of children’s ministry.

Our ministry began as part of the local church we were attending. As the work grew, we felt a strong desire to minister more than the once a year Vacation Bible School. Though the children’s ministry was growing every year (2010 we had over 800 kids attend). The ministry grew to the youth of the church and village we were partnering with. In 2011, we took a team of 15 college students from our college ministry at Troy University to hold the first Youth Conference. We had amazing crowd of kids coming from the church and surrounding villages. Over that week we saw many first time commitments to Christ and many were baptized.

Currently we are not actively involved in Trinidad due to the call to spend our time and resources in the village of McGrath, Alaska. However, we stay in contact with several pastors and partners in Trinidad and hope to minister there in the near future. The opportunity to minister in Trinidad is incredible and the people are hungry for the Gospel, especially the children.
