[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Leah Mason is a 5th grade teacher at a school in Phenix City, Alabama. In 2014, we partnered with her in a new ministry called “Angel In The Classroom”. The goal of the ministry is to encourage the students in their classwork, relationships with other students, and create subject challenges in the classroom where the students compete for Homework Bucks, Ice Cream Passes, and specials awards. The “angel” is not known to the kids and has made for some interesting discussions between Miss Mason and the kids about WHO Angel is. Angel sent some encouragement cards after Thanksgiving, and one of the kids said, “Angel must be close by because she dated my card November 29th!” Many of the students have sent letters and drawings to Angel.
