Greetings from McGrath, Alaska!
Lots of great stuff is happening at the McGrath Community Church.

We kicked off the New Year with an awesome praise and worship service. This was something new for the church. but it was a sweet time or worship. We just finished a series called “Face Time” where we looked at people in Scripture that had face-to-face encounters with God and how it impacted their lives. Starting Sunday February 21 we will begin the walk to Easter Sunday with a series called “RISEN!”. This series will parallel the new movie with the same name to be released on February 19th. We are looking forward to a big community service on Easter Sunday.
K4G (Kids 4 God) weekly Bible club for 1st through 5th graders has started off very well. The are getting a Basic Training course in what being a Christian means.
We have seen a great response to the youth pizza night. We have 7-8 youth that are coming regularly. We showed the movie “Do You Believe” a couple of weeks ago and had a good response to the movie.
On Friday February 12, the first Valentine’s Day Date was held at the church. We had a good turn-out for the dinner. With no real options for a “date night” in the village, it was a good chance for the men to have a real date night where they could relax and enjoy a great evening. After dinner we all played the Newlywed Game. I must confess, it was just as good as the one we used to watch on TV!Thanks so must for your prayers and support. God is at work big time here in McGrath, Alaska. We are very excited about the things that are “bubbling” under the surface!
